CIBC lends a hand to aboriginal programs at Banff Centre

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce won praise Tuesday for jumping in on the ground floor of native business growth, by signing up as a permanent supporter of aboriginal programs at the Banff Centre for Management. "It's a very positive development," said Banff Centre program director Andrew Bear Robe, after CIBC sealed its pledge with a first annual donation of $50,000. "This is the other side of the coin" from sorrows over poverty, isolation and addictions.
