Given the recent findings of an Alberta judge in a civil court hearing, the Alberta Wilderness Association (AWA) is restating its 1995 call for the resignation of Alberta's Minister of Environmental Protection, Ty Lund. In the judgment, Justice James L. Foster states, "I regard the testimony of Ty Lund on these matters as unreliable and not believable." He also described the Minister's testimony given last week in Red Deer as "unreasonable to the point of being absurd" and concluded that he "is either deliberately misleading the court or remarkably careless in signing an agreement he did not understand...".
