New protected areas in Bow Valley praised

The Calgary/Banff Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is today praising the Alberta government for creating or expanding two Wildland Provincial Parks, two Provincial Parks, and two Natural Areas in the Bow Valley around Canmore. Environmental Protection Minister Ty Lund announced the new protected areas yesterday.
