CPAWS sets the record straight on ski areas in national parks

The Calgary/Banff Chapter of CPAWS has recently been caught up in a controversy with some businesses in the Banff area and with Big Rock Brewery. Big Rock withdrew its sponsorship of CPAWS events after coming under “commercial pressure” from the Banff businesses. The businesses appeared to be under the misunderstanding that CPAWS was working to shut down the ski areas in the national parks.
