Heritage Minister Sheila Copps has praised a task force report that says Canada's national parks are being ruined by too much development and too many people. She said the report released Thursday by a government appointed panel of 11 experts will be taken seriously. Copps said there will be no more developments such as ski-hills and golf courses. The report said Canada is mismanaging its 39 national parks. The Panel on the Ecological Integrity of Canada's National Parks, said the parks are almost at a crisis point and puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of Parks Canada.
