Canmore cyclist mauled by bear

A man cycling along a trail near the Canmore Nordic Centre was mauled by a bear Monday night, in an area where there have been several bear sightings this summer. Conservation officers have so far been unable to determine the kind of bear involved in the mauling. The man was transferred to Banff Hospital were he is listed in stable condition.
