Killer road near Golden claims another victim

A treacherous piece of mountain road near Golden, B.C. has claimed its ninth victim of the year, RCMP say. “There have been triple the number of deaths on this 30-kilometre stretch of road than there was last year,” said Golden RCMP Const. Arnie Kliewer. The latest occurred early yesterday when two rigs collided on Hwy. 1, about 25 km west of Golden, 290 km west of Calgary
