LuAn Mitchell learned at the end of August she would make the ranks of PROFIT and Chatelaine magazines’ top 100 list of Canadian women entrepreneurs. The chair of Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods didn’t know that she would be No. 1. “I’m overwhelmed and just delighted as can be to see us at No. 1,” said Mitchell in an interview Wednesday from her office in Banff.
