Fall election threatens parks bill, says Harvey Locke

Legislation to curb commercial growth in Banff and other national parks will die if an election is called this fall, and opponents of growth may have to mobilize again, a parks advocate says. Until the bill passes, promises of a new federal commitment to protect the parks are "just talk," Harvey Locke said in a speech at the University of Alberta.
