Lac Beauvert, home to the world-famous Jasper Park Lodge, is one of the most manipulated water bodies in the country. Since 1917, when 8,000 cutthroat trout were first introduced, park managers have stocked the lake with more than 270,000 cutthroat, brook trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, splake and arctic grayling, each time with the aim of producing a world-class sports fishery.
