Two days after shooting a cougar that killed a cross-country skier, wardens in Banff National Park yesterday captured another cougar they believed stalked a local resident and attacked several dogs. Wardens with five tracking dogs chased the cougar up a tree about 10 a.m. on Cave Avenue and shot it with a tranquilizer dart. It will be relocated to a remote area of the park. Wardens are confident the cat, a 50-kilogram female, is the same one that stalked local resident Cheryl Hyde on Tuesday, the same day another cougar killed cross-country skier Frances Frost.
