Vancouver Island cougar attack sends cyclist to hospital

A 52-year-old Seattle man is in hospital after a cougar attack in Port Alice, on northern Vancouver Island. John Nostdal was cycling along a quiet road on Thursday evening, when the cougar jumped on his back. He was rescued by a local resident who was driving by in his car.
