Hikers asked to watch for bears

An expert on bears says people are fairly likely to spot bears this time of year in Alberta. Stephen Herrero, a professor of Environmental Sciences and Biology at the University of Calgary, says bear habitat is fairly concentrated in the spring because they're just waking up from their winter hibernation. He says green-up areas and places where berries are left over from last year are where they're likely to be spotted.
