Sunshine hopes for go-ahead on gondola update

After years of working within tight regulations, Sunshine Village hopes to get the go-ahead to finally update the gondola to its slopes. Public hearings are set for this Wednesday. If approval isn't given within the next month, the "project will be dead for years," National park Ski Area Association director Crosbie Cotton said yesterday.
