Crazy Canuck Irwin expected home by end of June

Dave Irwin is making a good recovery from severe head injuries after a skiing accident in March. The former Crazy Canuck has been at Calgary's Foothills hospital since he fell during a competititon at Sunshine ten weeks ago. Dr. Christine McGovern says Irwin's mental abilities are still impaired but physically, she says, he's back to normal. However, McGovern says it's too early to tell if he can get back to his former competitive level of skiing. "He's able to go home on weekends. He can participate and interact with people," says McGovern.
