Family and friends are mourning the death of a well-known Calgary hairdresser after she died when the vehicle she was in swerved to miss an elk and struck a tree. Mary Kamajian, 53, was a passenger in her 1999 Mercedes Benz roadster which was being driven westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway by a male friend from Arizona, RCMP said.
