The businessman behind a rival bid for a host of top Canadian ski resorts, including World Cup-hosting Lake Louise, revealed on Friday he would sell off most of the properties if he beats out the first offer. Buyers waiting in the wings for two of the eight ski resorts include Intrawest Corp., North America's top ski developer, and Quebec high-tech tycoon Charles Sirois. Bob Sudermann, who runs Ottawa-area ski hill Camp Fortune, is hoping to wrest the assets of Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, which is under bankruptcy protection, from the hands of energy financier Murray Edwards, the first bidder.
