A FOOTHILLS HOSPITAL doctor is dead following a tragic fall that occurred during a climb in Banff National Park. Dr. Paul Kneafsey, a 46-year-old pathologist, was climbing Mount Temple about 11 a.m. Saturday. It's believed he suffered heart problems, Lake Louise Mounties said. The complications quickly escalated causing the man to lose consciousness as he stopped precariously on a small ledge. Kneafsey's friend scrambled towards him, but before he could help Kneafsey "slid from the ledge down a slope approximately 150 metres," Const. France Levesque said.
