Hiker dies on Mount Temple

A member of Calgary's medical community has died while hiking near Lake Louise. Mounties say the 46-year-old unidentified man was climbing Mount Temple in Banff National Park on Saturday when he suffered what appeared to be a heart attack around 11:15 a.m. The man lost consciousness before a hiking companion could prevent him from sliding approximately 150 metres down a mountain ledge.
