Math think-tank opens in Banff

A new think-tank announced Monday aims to give many of the world's top such minds a place to create the formulas and tools that will eventually be used by engineers, statisticians, astronomists, computer scientists and geneticists. The Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery, a joint Canadian-American project, is the first centre of its kind in North America.
