Choreographer and director Brian Macdonald is the winner of the first Walter Carsen prize. The award recognizes Canadian artists for excellence in dance, music and theatre. Brian Macdonald continues to reach audiences with his work. And he's passing that on to the next generation as well, as director of the professional dance program at the Banff Centre.
