Autopsy explains bear’s death

The body of 17-year-old Nakiska was found by her keepers Monday morning. It originally appeared she died shortly after a fight with the male bear in her pen that night but the Manager of Zoological Operations says the autopsy showed Nakiska died from puncture wounds received in a fight about ten days earlier
