Meteor’s impact traced to Jasper

A spectacular meteor that streaked across the Alberta sky on the afternoon of October14 may have crashed to Earth somewhere near Jasper or Rocky Mountain House, according to an expert skywatcher. Residents in Lake Louise reported hearing a loud boom, while other witnesses reported seeing an initial explosion followed by several fragments travelling in different directions.
