Woman listening to walkman hit by train

RCMP say a woman in Banff was hit by a train, Monday, when she failed to hear the whistle sound. The 43-year old woman was wearing a walkman as she walked beside the train tracks at the east crossing, on Compound Road. Police say the woman was struck by the train and thrown. She is being treated in hospital. The incident happened around one o'clock Monday afternoon
