Stenson on list for world's richest literary prize

Calgary author Fred Stenson is on the long list for the 2002 IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, for his book The Trade. The two authors' works join novels by six other Canadians on the list, including Margaret Atwood, and Michael Ondaatje. A total of 124 books from around the world are in the running for the IMPAC prize, which is worth $139,000. The winner will be announced next May.
