A war over water has erupted between visiting U.S. stars and Alberta's government, after the province's environmental record was slammed by visiting celebrities. In a case of Kennedy versus Klein, environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. -- in town for a fundraiser -- attacked Premier Ralph Klein's government for its shoddy treatment of Alberta's ecosystems. “Our interest in Alberta is in response to local groups," said Kennedy, who leads the Waterkeeper Alliance, a group dedicated to saving endangered waterways.”
