The war of words between water crusader Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Alberta's environment minister ended Sunday with a flurry of parting shots by both sides. Kennedy -- founder of the powerful U.S.-based Waterkeeper Alliance -- accused Lorne Taylor of being "naive" about pollution in Alberta. "I am assuming the best about the minister's character by saying he is naive," Kennedy said of Taylor. "Politicians have a short horizon: the next election. Our role ... is protecting the interests of the next generation."
