The RCMP says travel is not recommended along the TransCanada Highway from Brooks to Lake Louise, saying the road is very icy with blowing snow, creating poor visibility and white-out conditions. Highway 2, South, from Calgary to Nanton and Claresholm is in poor driving condition with snow, ice and poor visibility. Heavy snow is creating poor visibility along Highway 2, north, from Calgary to Edmonton. Highway 93 from Castle Junction, south to Radium and north to Saskatchewan River Crossing, is closed.
