Teachers support strike vote

While the local school board had hoped to delay a strike vote in the district as long as possible, teachers overwhelmingly supported a decision to support a strike vote last week and may be on strike as soon as Feb. 19. Of 134 Bow Valley teachers present at a meeting last Wednesday (Jan. 30), only two opposed the strike vote.
