Policy on national anthem fails to satisfy Canmore mom

The Canadian Rockies School Division's (CRSD) proposed policy on the singing of Oh Canada! in local schools may still be subject to revisions following the Board of Trustees' annual planning retreat. Board chair Mike Lloyd said Tuesday (Feb. 5) the draft policy, accepted as information by the Board at its Jan. 31 meeting, was subject to lengthy discussion at the closed-door retreat Feb. 1-3. Some changes may still be forthcoming after further discussion at the Board's next committee meeting.
