Wolves eat pet dog

Wolves killed a pet dog that was being walked off-leash at Johnson Lake in Banff last week, prompting park wardens to urge residents to obey the rules and keep their pets restrained. Long-time Banff resident Jane Gilmar said she “had a very good indication right then and there” that wolves had attacked her pet as she and her friend walked their dogs near Johnson Lake Feb. 3.
