Fears for safety push wardens to speak out February 28, 2002
A bitter law enforcement dispute is starting to take its toll on the national parks and the guardians who have protected the country’s most treasured lands for close to a century. Robi Gareau, a seasonal Banff National Park warden, says he dreamed of becoming a warden at the age of six, to protect the park, the people and its wildlife.
