Suspect charged in string of arsons

Three of the nine charges against Andrew Nelson Layes are for arson with disregard for life, which carries a maximum sentence of life mprisonment. Those charges stem from two fires last year at a Canmore fourplex, and a fire at a Banff staff accommodation on April 12.
