Devastated conservation officers removed the carcass of a young grizzly bear from the Trans-Canada Highway Tuesday -- the victim of a run-in with a car. The loss is huge, wildlife officials say, considering that a low birth rate has the species on the brink of being endangered. The driver, from British Columbia, admitted he was going too fast.
