Critics are questioning the legality of the permit issued by Parks Canada that allows the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise to withdraw water from the world-famous lake. They are also questioning whether the building permit for construction of a six-storey convention centre at the hotel is legal after the wrong park bureaucrat signed off the original water permit.
