Banff playwright wins Carsen Prize

John Murrell, the playwright and artistic director of the Banff Centre, was named Wednesday as winner of this year’s Walter Carsen Prize for Excellence in the Performing Arts. Last year’s winner was choreographer Brian Macdonald, also associated with the Banff Centre.
