Three decades ago, the legendary Bruno Engler cemented his reputation in the Bow Valley by proving to all that he lived outside of the constraints of mere mortals. The year was 1970 and that year, like this year, there was little snow to be had. As a joke, Engler donned an 18th century wooden Swiss mask and performed a “snow dance” at the Brewster Donut Tent. It snowed shortly thereafter.
