Pesticide ban urged in Banff

Banff council is being urged to ban the cosmetic use of toxic pesticides in light of high readings in Whiskey Creek, a once thriving stream that meanders through the national park townsite. But despite the high levels of Captan recently detected in the contaminated creek, renewed calls for local politicians to implement a bylaw have fallen on deaf ears.
