Banff council has backed away from hiking business licence fees 10 per cent, but is increasing municipal property taxes approximately three per cent. [Great – I already pay for the parking for the clients of the downtown businesses, why not pay for their tourism promotions? Heck, send me the Paris’s water bills too.]
