The Bow Valley Credit Union is renovating its Banff Avenue building, sending a message that it has no intention of handing over its leasehold to Parks Canada any time soon. Parks wants to take over the BVCU’s leasehold, which runs until 2029, as part of its plan to build an environmental education centre. [I don’t keep any money there, but if I did, I would draw it out.]
