Banff turns to composting

After digging through Banff’s garbage for six months, Kyle White discovered that 70 per cent of the town's waste is biodegradable and can be composted. The town plans to start a composting program within the next two years, which should save it money by reducing the amount of garbage shipped to Calgary landfills.
