Avalanche worries keep highways closed

The Trans-Canada Highway between Lake Louise and Revelstoke is still closed, and as many as 70 semis are stuck waiting for a path to be cleared. An avalanche that slid across the road around Rogers Pass Tuesday has still not been cleared away, and bad weather and concerns about another slide led officials to close the stretch between Lake Louise and Golden. Highway 93 between Lake Louise and Jasper is also closed.
