Calgary and the surrounding area was blasted on Saturday, with no relief throughout the day. With 30 to 60 centimetres forecast, the storm set a record for the time of year after 118 years of record-keeping. [Banff was spared all but a dusting, although we did get 7 cm of rain over the weekend.]
