Fish and Wildlife cautions residents not to handle or move young animals. Animals handled by humans experience severe stress. Also, it is illegal to capture many species of wild animals and birds, even for a short time. If you’re enjoying the outdoors and come across a cuddly young rabbit, fawn or bird, remember: look, but don't touch.
