Rocky Mountains symbolize Canada June 27, 2003
An Ipsos-Reid survey of 1,000 Canadians revealed 32% think the Rocky Mountains are the landmark that most symbolizes Canada. Thirteen percent of Albertans pick the Calgary Tower as as the province's most compelling attraction. Other popular landmarks selected by Albertans included the Saddledome, West Edmonton Mall, Banff National Park, the Pysanka Easter Egg in Vegreville, the Medicine Hat teepee and the giant dinosaur in Drumheller.
