Parks Canada is fighting to hold an out-of-control blaze in Kootenay National Park that could pose a threat to the busy and developed Bow Valley. The lightning-sparked Tokumm Creek fire near Marble Canyon, about 20-kilometres from Castle Mountain, has engulfed about 855 hectares of forest by August 6 and continues to grow.
