Lodge owner in middle of fire action

Paul Holscher saw the lightning bolt that started the fire that surrounded his lodge in Kootenay National Park, but he also saw the lodge escape the flames. Surrounding the Kootenay Park Lodge and park visitor centre was the Verendrye Fire, which had grown to 6,050 hectares in size by August 11.
