An outing on Cascade Mountain turned tragic when a Calgary teenager plummeted 50 metres to his death on the Labour Day weekend. It was the fourth fatal fall in the Rocky Mountains this year. Since 1990, climbing accidents have claimed more than a dozen lives on Cascade Mountain, Mount Rundle and Tunnel Mountain.
