Face of tourism changing in national parks September 11, 2003
According to a new survey of visitors to the Rocky Mountain national parks, fewer international and American visitors are passing through the park gates, but more Albertans and other Canadians are coming. Those that are coming are spending less money, and more of them this year are choosing to stay in so-called “gateway” communities like Canmore than they have in previous years.
