Driven by a poor tourism economy, spendthrift shoppers may get even better deals at this year’s Banff ski swap. The ski swap, in its 31st year, depends on locals and businesses selling gear they no longer want or need. Anyone with equipment to sell can bring it to the parkade in the Caribou Lodge from 1 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Friday, October 17 or at 9 a.m. Saturday, October18. Sales begin Saturday and continue from 9 a.m. the following day.
